Mentor Program

The CEA has a mentoring program that fosters the development of better networking between Victorian Chemistry teachers and improves Chemistry teaching. Although there are a large number of resources available to VCE Chemistry teachers, it can be difficult for new and/or isolated teachers to find and sort through resources that meet their particular needs. A mentor who can answer specific queries, make specific suggestions and share examples from their own experience can be very useful. If you are interested in becoming a mentor or a mentee please read the following information and register.

Melissa MacEoin from Mater Christi College was awarded a scholarship to attend the 2015 ChemEd Conference in Georgia USA in July/August 2015. This biennial conference is the largest of its kind, bringing together dedicated educators involved in high school and introductory chemistry from across the North America.
